Seefeld in Tirol (Зеефельд)

Seefeld in Tirol is a ski resort located in Austria, in the Tyrol region, situated on a sunny plateau surrounded by the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountain ranges. This region is renowned for hosting the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976. Seefeld is just 20 km away from Innsbruck and offers excellent skiing opportunities during the winter, with two ski lifts and fantastic slopes suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers and snowboarders. In the warmer months, the area boasts a multitude of hiking and cycling routes, totaling around 650 km of hiking trails, Nordic walking routes, cycling paths of various difficulty levels, as well as yoga and retreat centers. For golf enthusiasts, Seefeld also features several golf clubs.

Seefeld is one of the world’s best places for cross-country skiing. By choosing a route that matches your abilities, you can enjoy the beauty of the Tyrolean forest or bask in the sunny panoramas of snowy slopes.

What’s remarkable is that the little village turned out to be incredibly charming and appealing. It boasts pedestrian areas and shopping options to suit all tastes, excellent restaurants and hotels, and plenty of entertainment for non-skiers or families with children. Throughout the two weeks in January, the weather remained sunny and clear, making it a delightful experience to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of sparkling wine on a terrace overlooking the snowy mountains while basking in the rays of such bright winter sun.

Innsbruck (Инсбрук)

Innsbruck is the heart of the Austrian region of Tyrol, a beautiful town surrounded by alpine mountains and endless ski slopes. Even within the city, you can find a funicular and a skiing track. The Old Town is located on the right bank of the Inn River, and it’s where all the city’s attractions are situated. You can take a leisurely stroll along the main street of the city, Maria-Theresien-Strasse, reach the Inn River promenade, and relax at one of the many charming establishments in the city center.

To get a panoramic view of Innsbruck from above and admire the incredible alpine mountain landscape, you can take the Nordkette Cable Car (Hungerburgbahn), whose stations were designed by Zaha Hadid. For those who want to ski or snowboard down the snowy slopes, you can continue further and use the cable cars Seegrubenbahn, Hafelekarbahn, and Patscherkofelbahn.
