The Principality of Liechtenstein, with it’s capital Vaduz, covers an area of 160 km², making it one of the smallest countries in Europe, situated between Austria and Switzerland.

The princely residence is located on a mountain, overlooking the miniature capital of Vaduz, which has a population of 5,000 inhabitants. The scenic nature and the streets of the city are impeccably clean, in the European style. Liechtenstein is a constitutional monarchy, with the Vaduz Castle, towering above the capital, serving as the monarch’s residence. The city is adorned with numerous sculptures of contemporary art, and the Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts houses one of the largest private collections in Europe, housed in an award-winning modern building.
Our acquaintance with Munich began on Friday evening at the central square, Marienplatz, when all the central streets were filled with crowds of people, each having their own way of having fun.
Next, our journey took us towards the village of Kaprun, the town of Zell am See, the High Tauern National Park, and along a high mountain serpentine road to Gerlos, where we stopped to spend the night.
I’ll say it right away, 3 days for Vienna is catastrophically short, especially at the end of such a long journey.
