The Principality of Liechtenstein covers an area of 160 km², making it one of the smallest countries in Europe, situated between Austria and Switzerland. The princely residence is located on a mountain, overlooking the miniature capital of Vaduz, which has a population of 5,000 inhabitants. The scenic nature and the streets of the city are impeccably clean, in the European style. Liechtenstein is a constitutional monarchy, with the Vaduz Castle, towering above the capital, serving as the monarch’s residence. The city is adorned with numerous sculptures of contemporary art, and the Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts houses one of the largest private collections in Europe, housed in an award-winning modern building.
